Avtar, the pioneers of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in India and Working Mother, the celebrated gender-parity champion in the United States, are proud to bring you the fifth successive edition of The Best Practices of the 100 Best Conference (BOB). The conference will provide insights on how organizations can nurture Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to intentionally design culture, increase employee engagement and enhance organizational performance. The Conference will also celebrate the winners of the Working Mother and Avtar Best Companies for Women in India, Most Inclusive Companies, Male Allies, and the top CSR initiatives focused on Women’s economic empowerment and education.

Through a series of curated sessions, the conference shall bring forth conversations on how organizations can pursue #IncludeFearlessly to harness the power of diversity and prioritize inclusion without the fear of unproductivity, biases and loss of work-life harmony.

Fearless Inclusion on

Many global studies are reporting that the top emotion on the minds of people in the aftermath of the pandemic is FEAR. “Fear” as an emotion has evolved in the last two years from being an unpleasant feeling that is often triggered by a perceptive danger to an energy, which when channelized can conquer the indomitable.

Fearlessness, on the other hand, can make us march ahead, trouncing setbacks. While the pandemic has thrown a spanner in the works, it has also made the resilient human mind come up with solutions.

Last year, we saw organizations making public commitments on upping their Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) game. In 2021, leaders are increasingly having courageous conversations even as they candidly exhibit their intentionality to foster Inclusion and Belongingness by creating safe workplaces. The pivot, however, is a fearless leader focused on creating a truly inclusive workplace.

In our continuous endeavour to create workplaces that are committed to Inclusion, to build Equity and to advocate a culture that fosters belongingness, we are looking to build on the momentum by centring our annual conference, BoB 2021 around the theme – #IncludeFearlessly

The two-day virtual conference will touch upon the following:

-Psychological Safety in the workplace – be it physical, virtual or hybrid

-Inclusion of Persons with Disability in larger numbers, without fear of lack of infrastructure because of the benefits of virtual working

-Inclusion of members of LGBTQ across industries & verticals, without the fear of biases

-Women working fearlessly, focusing on their goals, without fear of losing work-life harmony

-The fearless inclusive leader who can enable candor among employees, which is crucial to creating a culture of belongingness.

-Policies and practices that organizations can adopt in order to prioritize true belonging and act fearlessly in order to create an inclusive culture and bring in long-lasting systemic change that is crisis proof.

-The skills, tools and support system that will enable organizations to create and sustain DEI in a post pandemic world
