Inclusion by Design
A transformational leadership style workplace program in which leaders demonstrate a heightened awareness of their own biases and are genuinely open to include and learn from diverse perspectives. Research has time and again established that diverse teams are more capable than homogeneous groups in delivering innovative solutions. Organizations tend to be more profitable with a diverse and inclusive environment. In the context of organizational crises and VUCA, this can mean better risk management and pursuit of hitherto untapped, strategic opportunities. But to achieve these positive outcomes, and to leverage the power of a diverse workforce, Inclusion by Design workshop will heighten awareness of the leader’s biases (and have mastered techniques to manage the same), will teach leaders to manage employee conflicts more constructively, and will help them drive home a sense of belongingness in their workforce. They will be equipped to promote agile ways of working, nurture ownership as valuable employee behavior, and will be able to drive consensus in vertically/horizontally distributed teams.
