The use of equity to reach equality has been pioneered by Tamil Nadu. The state has used equity to feed poor children so that they don’t drop out of school, to provide equity for the marginalized, and has used equity to bring out skills available among the underrepresented, pointed out Dr Saundarya Rajesh, Founder-President, Avtar Group, speaking at the panel discussion, Women Workforce: Why Tamil Nadu is Ahead of the Curve in a one-day summit, ‘Tamil Nadu Unlimited’. The summit was organized by The Hindu in association with Guidance Tamil Nadu.
